Welcome to the Most Beautiful Books 2024 competition!
The Finnish Book Art Committee will select the 28 most beautiful books published in 2024. The books will be awarded with the Book Arts Beautiful Book Award and one of them will be awarded with the Most Beautiful Book of the Year Award.
Publishers, printers, publishers and designers can submit books of their choice published during 2024 for evaluation to the Finnish Book Art Committee by 7 January 2025 at the latest. In addition to the required information, a picture of the book’s front cover is required.
To be eligible for the competition, at least one of the authors must be a Finnish citizen or a permanent resident of Finland:

Comic books
Student works, small prints and experimental publications (no ISBN)

Participation fee
The entry fee is €85 for the first work, and €60 for subsequent works, with the same entrant. If the number of copies is less than 100, the entry fee is €50. Student works can be entered free of charge in the category of student works, small prints and experimental publications (no ISBN number); for other entries in this category, the entry fee is based on the number of copies (less than 100 copies €50). If you are participating as a student, you must be able to present a valid Finnish student card on request.
